Since a plasma cutter isn't inteded to be a weapon, I would probably set its damage based on that instead of comparing it to other weapons in the books. The plasma cutter seemed to take out slasher limbs with 3 shots at most, at that was the tough versions. Remember that since no players will be necromorphs (they won't, will they? Seems awful hard to GM that) you don't have to figure out point costs for all of this, so it's not a problem to say that they have Injury Tolerance: Unliving that doesn't affect limb shots and that they just flat die when losing their ability to attack.Īs for weapons, all I ever used was the plasma cutter, flamer, line gun, and assault rifle. To simulate that, you might want attacks to do regular damage to limbs and claim that the necromorph is dead after losing its ability to attack or move, since that's how it works in the game. Necromorphs definitely have the Injury Tolerance: Unliving advantage since shooting them up has almost no effect if you don't aim for limbs. Figure out how much damage this does on average, then maybe add a point or two and make that the DR of typical armor of the setting. Then give them a cutting / impaling attack (I honestly can't remember how strength affects strikers, IDHMBWM). I'd probably give them an overall strength of 13-14 with Striking Strength 2 or so.

Slashers at least can't hold elevator doors open, but they probably are stronger than regular humans. To figure out how strong the necromorpsh are is a bit tougher. If you're doing this as military characters, military armor obviously couldn't stop all of the damage either, but was better than Isaac's. Slashers don't seem to be able to do too much damage in one clobbering, so I would set his armor as being able to absorb about 80% of the damage on average. To get a guage of how tough Isaac's armor is, you should probably try to figure out how strong the necromorphs are and work from there.

I have played the game, but without taking a good bit of time to work things out I'm not too sure what to say off hand about their stats.
